I'm Jeaxx, a level 80 Alliance Night Elf assassination rogue on Icecrown. I've been playin' World of Warcraft on-and-off since the original Wow. I was a subtlety rogue (focusing on PvPing) all the way into Wrath of the Lich King, which I then made the change to assassination.
Why did I change to assassination?
I'm doin' Filthy Tricks as a way to share my experiences and knowledge on doin' it... from behind. I do both PvP and end-game raiding now.
One thing I try to encourage rogues out there is to think for themselves. Don't become a sheep and follow your own path to the shadows.
I do world PvP and battlegrounds, but I hate arenas with a passion.
I'm a loud mouthed, wild-eyed rogue. My personality is one thing that sticks with people who encounter me. I can be heard spittin' out one-liners such as "Bring it!", "Come get some...", "Ooo, that's gotta' hurt." and "Messed with the wrong rogue...".
Those that play on the Alliance Nightfall battlegroup know that it's rare to ever find anyone communicating anything helpful at all. In battlegrounds, I'm almost always vocal in battleground chat, giving strategic advice before a battle starts ("DPS IGNORE players until all demos are killed"), rallying a losing force on how they can turn themselves around ("Y'all aren't geared enough compared to this premade" "Our last hope is for 7 of us to get on defense in the flag room"), or giving strategic commands during a winning streak ("yeah, keep goin'!" "Keep pushing them, keep them on defense by attacking GM").
Because of my loud mouth one-liners, my willingness to be vocal and helpful in battleground's and my high kill rate and low death rate, I get hit up a lot by other rogues on advice, expertise, etc. So that's one of the reasons I started Filthy Tricks.
